No, (given my tent-phobic tendencies) I have not ventured to Worthy Farm. I’m holding out until July for Y Not, that’s more my type of festival (one on my doorstep!)
However, I do know of a few loyal ‘Challenge 69’ subscribers who seem to have made their way to a field in Somerset …
(Some of Glastonbury’s younger guns!)
… so I’m just hoping Emily Eavis has sorted out a good WiFi signal, as they clearly won’t want to be missing out on the latest ‘exciting’ instalment of ‘C69’ as it gets published (each morning) between Saturday 24th and Tuesday 27th.
Yes, this one’s a four parter (just when you thought the story’s ‘challenges’ couldn’t become any more convoluted!), and it moves the mystery very close to its end!
And if anybody really is mad enough to be reading this in Glastonbury, then here’s a quick playlist of the ‘newer’ stuff I would be trying to catch if I was there; not a whole lot of which (I suspect) will make it as far as the TV coverage.
I’m also intrigued by the fact a ‘mystery band’ has appeared on the lineup, just who are The ChurnUps (third on the Pyramid Stage bill tomorrow night)? …
… well far be it from me to start positioning ‘Challenge 69’ as some sort of latter day Nostradamus, but this weekend’s featured ‘maverick’ just happens to be a certain Jarvis Cocker, and if you, “churn things up,” don’t you just end up with a P**P?
If I’m right then I hope everybody’s ‘Sorted for E's & Wizz’!
