… ring the bells, do a little dance, whatever takes your fancy to celebrate (I normally settle for a beer), because …
turned 100 today!
Yes, this morning my little story finally attracted its one hundredth subscriber (114 days after going ‘live’). A really big thankyou to each and every one of you for helping me reach this milestone.
I couldn’t resist a quick ‘Three Figures’ playlist to mark the occasion and, whether you listen to it or not, it amused me to follow Haircut 100 (with a song I’ve always thought manages to out-Wham Wham) with the most miserable opening line ever, (“it doesn’t matter if we all die,”) courtesy, unsurprisingly, of Robert Smith.
Remember (all one hundred of you!), ‘Track 6’ lands tomorrow. Thanks again.
PS. As I was typing this post, subscriber #101 duly arrived in my inbox (from Poland no less!). Guess I’m going to have to set myself a new target. ‘101’ would have made a much harder playlist to curate though, so I’ve settled for adding a bit of pre-Clash Strummer to the mix.
Nice work!
For that latest subscriber, you could use Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" off their "101" album.
Yay! Well done Tim.
