Hi, this is a pre-scheduled post as we’re on a few days break away in Krakow or, as my Lonely Planet guidebook describes it, “the regal former Polish capital, whose historic alleyways pulse with modern life.”
Given that we’re currently fully occupied, pulsing along with modernity, I’ll be brief.
Hope you all enjoyed reading ‘Challenge 69’s ‘Track 2’ and remember, on the story’s new accelerated release schedule, ‘Track 3’ will now be with you in just over a week’s time (on the 25 September).
It was a tough task to compile a Polish themed playlist, but with Google to guide me, and by applying a degree of poetic licence, I think I’ve got there. Enjoy.
(PS Dezerter and Lady Pank are, respectively, Poland’s most popular punk and rock bands. The title of the Dezerter song ‘Tchorze’ translates as ‘Coward’, while the ‘Lady Pank’ track ‘Kryzysowa Narzzeczona’ apparently means ‘Crisis Bride’. An intriguing title, pity I’m clueless on the lyrics. ‘C69’ always aiming to be educational as well as entertaining!)
