A big thankyou to everybody who is sticking with ‘Challenge 69’, ‘Track 4’ again had an excellent ‘open’ rate. I hope you are enjoying it as the story starts to unfold.

A special mention/congratulations to Tim W for being first out of the blocks with the correct solution to the book’s latest ‘challenge’.

As usual, I’ve attached a soundtrack with all the songs/artists mentioned in ‘Track 4’, it’s a bit shorter this time with a running time of just over an hour. There may be a while to go yet (and more than a few soundtracks left to compile) but I’m fairly confident this will be both a first- and last-time appearance by John Denver!

Holiday over, I’m now getting down to work on the final edits and rewrites for ‘Track 5’, making sure I stay on schedule to get the next instalment posted out as planned on 25th October (a week on Tuesday).

Finally, I was reading this morning about the reopening of Battersea Power Station, as an entertainment/retail complex, and couldn’t help wondering how many of you (of a certain age!) would immediately bring the same ‘floating pig’ image to mind as I did?
