'Track 10' Soundtrack
I’ll kick off with congratulations to Ian B, who was the first reader to come back (within ten hours) with a correct solution for ‘Challenge 31’. I just knew those two Maths ‘A’ Levels would prove useful in the end!
The heart of today’s post, however, is the usual playlist of all the songs/albums referenced in ‘Track 10’, attached below.
I suspect these ‘soundtracks’ are a minority interest amongst readers, but I do know, from feedback, that some of you really enjoy them, and this one, I promise, is a corker!
Having lived with these chapters/songs for a good couple of years now, the playlists no longer come as any ‘surprise’ to me; but I listened to this one all the way through again yesterday and it’s definitely one of my favourites. Well worth an hour and a quarter of anybody’s time!
As an added bonus: I found the following video ‘Cure-iosity’ online. It features a twenty year old (pre dodgy-barnet) Robert Smith, in a fetching pair of pink trousers, singing a song which is captioned ‘At Night’, yet sounds remarkably like ‘A Forest’, with wholly different words.
The Cure - A Forest/At Night from 1979
Thanks again to everybody for continuing to support ‘Challenge 69’. Writing the book was enjoyable/satisfying in itself, but it’s great to know that it’s now being read.
